Eleanor Elizabeth Nony, age 92, of Sun City, CA passed away peacefully after a short illness on September 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Eleanor was born on September 19, 1933, in Queens, New York. She grew up in the New York City area where she married Edward Thiele, together they had 2 sons and 1 daughter. She later married George Nony.
Eleanor enjoyed traveling, her cats, and was a stained glass hobbyist.
She is survived by her two sons.
A Committal Service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518, US, on October 15, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
