Genie L Collins

Genie Lorraine Collins, aged 72, passed away on August 17, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in Washington D.C. on July 28, 1952, Genie was known for her friendly nature and big heart, always eager to make friends and lend a helping hand. Throughout her life, Genie pursued a unique career as an extra in various movies and TV shows, bringing joy and entertainment to many. In her personal time, she was passionate about cooking, playing bingo, and enjoying the slot machines, activities that brought her great joy and allowed her to connect with others. Genie was a long time resident of Orange County for 30+ years before moving to Las Vegas. Genie was preceded in death by her mother, Enda Jean "Betty" Livesay, and her adopted father, Lawrence Joseph Collins.

Genie leaves behind a loving family including her son, Joseph Collins; daughter, Kimberly Lindsey; grandchildren, Yvonne Viramontes, Roselie Collins, and Joseph Collins Jr; great-grandchildren, Victoriya Cochran, Justin Johnson, Travis Johnson, Stormy Soonthornratanarak, Ezekiel Collins, Ian Cavanaugh, Arron Cavanaugh, and Anakin Collins; 2 half sisters Donna Archibald and Jean Johnson.

On May 12, 2025 Genie was finally laid to rest at her final resting home at Miller-Jones Mortuary And Crematory in Menifee, CA.
