Joe is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Anne Maria Beeman Landin; his 6 children; Joseph Glenn Landin, Jr., John Andrew Landin, Charles Arvid Landin, Laura Lynn Landin Endean (Michael Endean), Michael Wallace Sills, Trace Emerson (Devra Emerson), 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Boris and Esther Landin.
Joe was born on March 21, 1942, in Neptune, New Jersey. He graduated from Freehold Regional high school in 1960.
Joe was a corporate executive for 30 years. He then applied his lifelong passion for cars to the business world and opened Maaco in Temecula, California. After successfully running that business for seven years he sold it and became a business broker. He continued that career up until his passing.
Joe spent his free time working on classic cars and street rods, fishing, and enjoying time with family. He was one of the founding members of the Canyon Lake Car Club and started the Canyon Lake Car Show.
He will be missed by many.
A mass will be held at Saint Martha’s Catholic Church in Murrieta on Friday, November 10 at 10 a.m. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Canyon Lake Country Club at 12:30 p.m. All are welcome to come celebrate Joe’s life and share fond memories.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice of the Valleys in Murrieta, California.
