Leticia Santana

Leticia survives with her first and second late husbands, Gerald Evans and Michael Santana, and survived by her four children; Gerald Stephen, Cynthia, and her twins; Linnette and Lawrence. She was later blessed with her many Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren: Amanda, Savannah, Andrea, Samantha, Anissa, Sahara, TJ, Kylene, Kaitlyn, Anthony, Leo, Hailey, Roman, and Milianna.

Leticia’s parents were Pedro Flores and Isidora Engracia Morales. She was the youngest of ten siblings: Luis, Lydia, America, Elmo, Harry, Violeta, Roberto, Carmen, and Cecilia. Immigrating from Puerto Rico to New York, where she was a New York City Police Officer for about a year, then soon moved to Buena Park, California and worked at a Flower Shop where she met her first husband, Gerald Evans. They later married and had 4 children. She had a 30yr career as a Home Caregiver. She later moved to Kissimmee, Florida and married Michael Santana where she continued to live until she was 87. She then moved to Canyon Lake, Ca. to be closer to her family.

Leticia continued to be her colorful and playful self, meeting new friends and neighbors while adjusting to the new life with family and no longer living alone. It was such a blessing to have her here close with family during the last few years of her life. Even when she was being cared for at a nearby Assisted Living facility, her high energy and playful charm followed her there.

Making new friends and adjusting to a new environment was something that she took with good stride and was happy she was not alone. Her character was always being the life of the party we all knew, loved and cherished. Today, again we celebrate her long 91yr life with us, and we all now know she is doing the same up in heaven with Jesus Christ, and Gerald (Poppi), Linnette, and Mikey. God Bless you Mom! We know you are dancing now!
