It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lisa Ann Myers, 51, of Lake Elsinore, California, on October 3, 2024. She was born on April 10, 1973, in Greeley, Colorado, to Tony and Elodia Garcia, where she was raised. Lisa attended Valley High School in Gilcrest and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Northern Colorado. She pursued a career in marketing, first with Melody Homes in Denver and later with Lennar Homes after moving to California.
Lisa met her loving husband, James Myers, in 2001 and they were married in Hawaii in 2003. They bought their first home together in the close-knit neighborhood of Canyon Hills on Cedarhill Lane, where they formed lasting friendships with their wonderful neighbors. Together, Lisa and James had two children, Kale and Addisyn. After Addisyn was born, Lisa chose to become a full-time homemaker, embracing her role as a dedicated mother. She became active in Stroller Strides, forging bonds with a community of mothers who supported and raised their children together, knowing they could always rely on one another.
As her children grew, Lisa remained involved in their activities, faithfully attending their sports games, taking Addisyn to gymnastics, and later, supporting her passion for golf. Lisa could not have been prouder of her children, and her love for them knew no bounds. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, and her warmth, strength, and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, James Myers, and their two cherished children, Addisyn and Kale. She is also survived by her siblings, Anthony Garcia (Anita), Kristine Gonzales (Stan), and Valerie Garcia, all of whom will forever remember her as a loving and supportive sister, their best friend. Lisa was also a beloved sister-in-law to Sally Longan (Bill) and a cherished daughter-in-law to Mary Myers. She was the proud aunt to her nieces and nephews, Chelsea, Shane, Roman, Jason, Jeremy, Kinsey, Kaine, and Kole, all of whom brought great joy to her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Tony Garcia and Elodia Espinosa, whose memory she carried with her always.
Lisa's presence will be deeply missed, but the love she shared and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
