Luisa Baez

Luisa “Lucy” Baez Lucy passed away peacefully in her sleep the afternoon of March 7, 2023 of natural causes in the presence of family. She was born on February 28,1939 to Antonio and Georgina Garcia on the Island of Puerto Rico in the little coffee town, Yauco. She was survived by her three sons Ramon, Ronald & Ricardo, her seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two brothers and one sister. She was predeceased by one sister. She met the love of her life when he, Ramon Baez, was returning to the United States from Europe after serving in the US Army. The following year they married and remained together for over 64 years until his passing in 2022. Lucy worked for over 25 years at the Northrop corporation and retired in 1994. Her great passions were cooking, taking care of her pets and sharing her faith with people. She enjoyed traveling in their motorhome with her husband. She also loved to spend time with her family and friends.
