March 22, 1963 – October 5, 2026
Matilde “Maty” Martinez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 63 years old.
Maty was born on March 22, 1963, in Mexico City, Mexico. She later made her home in Hemet, California, where she built a beautiful life centered around her family, her faith, and her love for others.
Maty was a hardworking and devoted woman whose greatest joy was caring for the people she loved. She was a loving wife to her husband, Jose, and a devoted mother to Pamela and Jose Emmanuel. She was also a cherished mother-in-law to Alex and Shawna, and a beloved grandmother to David, Noah, and Ezra.
To know Maty was to know kindness. She had a heart that was always looking for a way to help someone else. She was the kind of person who would willingly give from what she had, even if it meant having less for herself. Her generosity was never about recognition—it simply came from the love she carried in her heart.
Maty’s smile could light up a room, and her warmth made people feel welcomed and loved. She was an amazing friend, a devoted family woman, and someone who left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. She loved music, crafting, spending time with her family, and being involved in church. Above all, she loved God and tried to show His love through the way she lived her life and cared for others.
Maty fought with incredible strength until the very end. Although her family’s hearts are broken by her passing, they find comfort in knowing that she is now resting in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, free from pain and at peace.
Her legacy will live on through her, children, grandchildren, family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. The love she gave so freely will continue through them.
