Matthew Ilya Casciato, age 31 of California, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025. Matthew was born January 16, 1994, in Tomsk, Russia. He passed away at Fort Lewis in Washington. He is survived by his loving parents, David and Susan, his wife Andrea, and sisters Danielle and Sarah. Matthew was born in Tomsk, Russia. He was adopted by David and Susan Casciato at age 12. He learned the English language, completed high school, and joined the army in 2015. He enjoyed being in the army, traveling to other countries, and training his fellow soldiers. His favorite pastimes were spending time with his German Shepherd named Rex, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by many. We love you, Matthew.
