Roy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend—cherished for the warmth he extended so naturally and the generous care he gave so freely. He shared 62 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Rita Saldana, a life marked by faithful companionship and enduring devotion until her passing.

With a hard-working pride and a deep sense of responsibility, Roy dedicated 36 years to Rohr Industries, serving with consistency and strength until his retirement. His example was quietly inspirational: he believed in providing for his family, and he did so with steadfast resolve.

Roy earned his high school diploma and carried an adventurous, openhearted approach into daily life, finding joy in both simple pleasures and shared moments. He also had the rare opportunity—twice—to watch the World Series in person, proudly rooting for the Dodgers.

Roy’s faith was the foundation of his life. He loved the Lord and read his Bible daily, living with a faithful steadiness that shaped his character and anchored his days.

He was a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren and a loving great-grandfather to 4 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries forward the legacy of his love. Roy will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the enduring devotion he showed to family and friends. His memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew him.
