Born in Van Buren Maine to Laura and Joseph Violette on August 9, 1933.
Russell moved to California in his late teens to work at Rohr Aircraft.
He was drafted into the Airforce in 1953 during the Korea War serving our country for 6 years.
Russ was the owner of Midland Pipe and Supply in Colton California until his retirement.
He loved to travel with Rita to her native country of Germany, also visiting France, where his grandparents were born.
He is survived by his loving wife Rita (Herz), his beloved daughters, Monique and Sonya. Daughter in law Erin, her children Sophie and Lexi.
His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Brea, Joshua, Login, and great granddaughter one year old Astara.
Russ will be deeply missed by family and friends.
He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church in Sun City.
Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be announced ~
Internment will be at the Riverside National Cemetery ✝️
