Born on September 11, 1947, in Glendale, California, to William Booth Richardson and Antoinette Serina Richardson, William spent his childhood in Norwalk and graduated from Santa Fe High School.
Following high school, William attended Questa Junior College. William answered the call to service when he was drafted into the United States Army. Deployed to Vietnam, he served with distinction and valor. During combat operations, William was wounded in action and was subsequently awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his bravery and sacrifice. Upon returning home, William built a career defined by craftsmanship and hard work, operating as a machinist and successful small business owner. He was a dedicated provider, a steady presence, and a man who took pride in a job well done.
Above all, William was a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Claudia Richardson; his daughter, Claudina Michelle Cisneros; his son-in-law, Anthony I. Cisneros; his cherished grandchildren, Sam and Anthony Cisneros; and his loving dogs, Ryder and Little Girl. His legacy of honor, resilience, and quiet devotion to his loved ones will live on in their hearts forever.
A Memorial Service will be held at Miller-Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd, Menifee, California 92585, US, on October 6, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Graveside Service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California 92518, on October 6, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
