Alan John Rieder

Of Menomonee Falls. Born and raised on the east side of Milwaukee "tunnel place". Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on May 5, 2013 at the age of 75 years. Loving husband of Elise Beverly for 50 years. Dear father of Mark (Ann) Rieder and Kenneth (Cindy) Rieder. Loving grandfather of Anthony, Rebecca and Jonathon Rieder. Dear brother of Richard and Gerald Rieder. Further survived by other relatives and many friends and neighbors. Preceded in death by his father Alvin Rieder, his mother Angeline (nee Manikowski), his step-mother Odelia Mihm Rieder, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

He will be remembered for his love and devotion toward his family. He had a zest for life, enjoyed jazz and nature.

Visitation Thursday May 9 at the funeral home from 4-7PM. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11AM St. Anthony Catholic Church, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave, Menomonee Falls.
