Gertrude M. Diers

(Nee Reith) Born to Eternal Life September 22, 2010 at the age of 96 years. Preceded in death by her husband Sylvester, her siblings; Hank, Helen, Florence and Harold, and her granddaughter Laura Lynn. Loving mother of Patricia Diers (John Wendel), Sylvia Sue (Bill) Mayer, Mary (Rick) Kokan, Tim Diers and Joan Diers. Dear grandma of Lael, Merrin (Matt) James, Lorin, Lane, Ben, Sarah, Bill (Melissa), Monica (fiance Nick) and Niles. Great-grandmother of Jadie, Kaelyn, Avery, Eli and Annelise. Sister of Irene (Ralph) Snopek, Edward (Lucy) Reith and Lucille Lewitsky. Sister-in-law of Norma Reith. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mom loved to cook and bake, set a beautiful table and served food with a passion. She created storybook Christmases and birthdays for us, building memories that we treasure. She was a member of St. Boniface for 57 years.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, September 27 at 5:30 PM at St. Boniface Catholic Church, W204 N11924 Goldendale Rd, Germantown. Visitation at the church Monday from 3:30 PM until time of Mass. Private family burial at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church appreciated.
