Irene C. Umhoefer

(Nee Schwister) Passed away May 16, 2012 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Richard. Dearest mother of Joan (Arleigh) Daschner, Erv, Donna (the late John) Lohmann, Janet (Mike) La Grassa, Kathy Gardner, Tom (Cheryl) Umhoefer. Preceeded in death by children Rita, Jimmy, John (Joan Wenzel), Marie Ann (Guy) Greenwald, Stan (Laurie Ocepek), Dick (Kathryn) Umhoefer, brothers John, Hank, Bill, Alvin, Edwin and sisters Elsie Wick, Gertrude Wick and Anna Burkwald. Proud grandmother of Teri (Kevin) Allison, Dan (Sue) Daschner, Dean Lohmann, Jeff (Debbie) Umhoefer, Nancy (Mark) Hulsey, Lisa (Todd) Podell, Amy (Tom) Finley, Mary (Todd) Huelskamp, Gaye Greenwald, Jessica (John) Drexler, Mike Daschner, Jason (Sierra) Snapp, Maggie Lohmann, Adam La Grassa and Jon Umhoefer. Survived by 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Further survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, and dear friend Toni Gannon.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 21st at 11:30 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, N74 W13604 Appleton Ave, Menomonee Falls. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Anthony's Parish, Menomonee Falls, American Diabetes Association or Bethesda Lutheran Homes.
