William Sylvester Wolf

Wolf, William S. Of Richfield. Age 78, went to heaven Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Loving husband of Susan J. (nee Holtz), for 51 years. Devoted father of William G. (Julie), Robert J. (Jeannine), David R., and the late Joseph J. Proud grandfather of William D., Lindsey, and Nicholas Wolf. Dear brother of Joan (Glen) Stuesser, Janet (Jack) Kelly, Joyce (the late Phil) Reuter, Jacky (Louis) Morgan and Cele Wolf. Brother-in-law of Tom (Connie) Holtz, Jim Holtz, Janet (Paul) Quail, Dan Holtz, Christine (Reggie) Brown. Preceded in death by his brother Gordon (Pat) Wolf. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

William was born to the late William L. and the late Eva Wolf, February 23, 1933. William graduated from Hartford Union High School in 1951. He served in the Army from 1951-1952 and was stationed in Japan. He attended Marquette University and graduated from Spencerian College in 1958. He married Susan in 1959. His wife, children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. William was a member of St. Boniface Parish, a past president of Richfield Lions Club and of Pi Rho Zeta Fraternity. He served as President of Richfield State Bank and was an entrepreneur and sole proprietor of several businesses. Bill loved to play softball and was a master host who made everyone feel welcome in his home. He possessed a subtle and quick wit.

Visitation is on Tuesday, March 15, from 9:30AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM, at ST. BONIFACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, W204 N11940 Goldendale Rd., Germantown, WI. Private interment in Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Boniface Parish or School.
