

Aaron Stephen Beck was born on January 23, 1993. He lived in Atwater California for his first five years before moving to Merced. He went to school at Sheehy Elementary, Cruickshank Middle School, where he learned of his artistic talent, and Merced High School, where he honed his artistic skills. He attended University Nevada at Reno where he earned his degree in Geological Engineering.
Aaron lived life to the fullest. He loved the great outdoors. He was an avid bike rider and had the beginnings of quite a bike collection. He was a hiker and accomplished fly fisherman and found peace in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
He loved to travel, His artistic eye and attention to detail made him a fun traveling companion. Whether he was riding his bike along the California coast or snorkeling in Hawaii or exploring Vietnam or Mexico City, he was always in the moment. At home he enjoyed tending and propagating his cactus and succulent collection. He was experiencing great success at work and planning for big adventures in the future.
Aaron passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2025 and is is preceded in death by his Grandparents Mac and Polly Olney and his grandfather Chuck Beck.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Beth Beck, his sister Maggie, his grandmother, Jane Beck, dear family friend, Rena Webster, and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
Services for Aaron will by held on Oct. 13 at St. Patrick’s Church on Yosemite Ave. in Merced at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the church hall.
