Alexander Hernandez Jr. was born on September 23, 1933 to parents Alejandro and Amelia in El Paso, Texas. He was in the Army (Korean War) and retired from Merced City School Employee. Alexander passed away at the age of 89 on July 18, 2023 in Merced, California. He is survived by his children David Hernandez, Arthur Hernandez, Ronald Hernandez and Sandra Carbaugh; Step children Nellie Casso, Luis Campos, Bobby Baptista and Johnny Baptista; Brother Albert (Beto) Hernandez; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Alexander is preceded in death by his father Alejandro; mother Amelia and wife Mary (Micki) Hernandez. We will always cherish the beautiful memories of Alex.
