Alicia Ontiveras Flores

She was a CNA/Caregiver from age 16 to 50 years old. Alicia began her life purpose with caring for the elders in a resting home to caring for elder family members and adopting a family friend “Pops” to live with her growing family. Alicia was a part of Compassionate “Parent and volunteer” to Alicia Reyes School/Community from 1997-2002.

Alicia is survived by her husband Mauro Flores, her children: Gilbert Arenivaz, Andrea Flores and Mauro Luz Flores Jr. (caretaker), siblings Fernando Arenivaz Jr., Diana Arenivaz and Jessica Arenivaz and her grandchildren Charlotte Arenivaz, Emily Marie Arenivaz, Maddox Arenivas. And has joined her parents Dolores Ontiveras Arenivaz and Fernando Pinon Arenivaz in everlasting paradise.

She loved being a part of the community, helping others and spending time with loved ones. Her hobbies consisted of going to yard sales, hitting the casinos, collecting piggy nicknacks and cooking for others. Her presence brightened many lives with love, kindness and a dash of sass. May La Guera rest in peace.

Rosary will be Thursday, November 13, 2025, 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Merced, California. Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. following with reception at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
