Barbara Mae (Goodell) Benevides a life time resident of Merced, CA passed away on Sunday March 1st 2015. Barbara was a graduate of Merced High School, and a homemaker of 25 years. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. Barbara enjoyed her dogs and spending time at the casinos, she especially enjoyed quality time with her family. Barbara was preceded in death by her Aunt Bert and Uncle Charlie Carey (Morrisville, VT) her former mother in law Janet Swiggart- Morrison of Merced, CA. Barbara leaves behind her loving husband of 13 years Scott Benevides, her daughter Amanda Malone her parents Donald and Helen Goodell of Merced, CA and her brother Everett (Pat)May of Florida, her sisters Patty (Bob) miller, Dawn (Stacey) Puga, Linda (Chris) Moorehead, Lyn (Chris) Carpenter, she also leaves behind a granddaughter Aubrie Haley Bettis.
