Barbara Janette Lowery was born on February 4, 1939 Tomato, Arkansas and passed away on April 23, 2021 in Madera, California. Barbara was a home maker, she loved her family wholeheartedly. She also was a cake decorator, and did home health care. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Chowchilla, California.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband JV Chipman; husband Jimmy Flores; son James Chipman; parents Elvie and Jennie McDaniel; grandson Gene Morley; great grandson Dillion Massey; brothers Sam and James McDaniel and sisters Thelma Devour and Shirley Ramirez.
She is survived by her husband Richard Lowery; children Vicky Gilliam of Chowchilla and Tonitte Wilson and husband Terry Wilson of Merced; brothers Larry McDaniel of Blytheville, Arkansas and Rich McDaniel of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and sisters Ruth Langley-Lee of Cleveland, Tennessee and Donna Allen of Blytheville, Arkansas. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Palm Memorial Worden Chapel located at 140 S 6th Street, Chowchilla, California 93610. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Plainsburg Cemetery located at 8943 Gillette Avenue, Le Grand, California 95333. Officiating services will be Rev. Jerry Gollihar and Rev. Steve Aldridge.
