Brenda Serena Davis

Brenda Serena Davis passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 78 in Mercy Medical Center in Merced, California. She was born on March 31, 1948, in Merced to Floyd and Ceinwen Tucker, and was the second oldest of four children that included two brothers and a sister.

Brenda graduated from Merced High School in 1966 and over the years lived in various locations in the United States and in Germany as an Army wife. She spent decades as a devoted mother and homemaker and later worked as an office administrator for a national moving and storage company in Los Angeles. She returned permanently to Merced in 2016 and shared a home with her brother Lester and their two dogs, Sammy and Suzie. She enjoyed activities with her family and friends, cooking and baking, gardening, games, shopping, craft projects and caring for her dogs and the graves of her parents. Brenda always brought positivity and best wishes to those around her. Throughout her life, she was generous with her love for her family, all of whom miss her dearly.

She is survived by her brother David (Michele) Tucker of Merced, sister Linda (Douglas) Harbaugh of Los Angeles, brother Lester Tucker of Merced and a daughter, granddaughter, great grandchildren and three nieces.

A graveside service for family and friends and internment will be held at Merced District Cemetery, Garden of Peace, at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 18th.
