Chanh Wa was a Merced resident for 43 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife, Feuy Linh Saechao; sons, Kaowa, Paowa and Sanwa; daughters, Naiwa and Chingwa; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Ying Seng Parker.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street Merced, CA. Burial will follow at Merced District Cemetery, 1300 B Street Merced, CA.
