Charles Henry Post

Charles attended McSwain School, he enjoyed playing sports, trumpet, as well as being in 4-H. Charles graduated from Atwater High in 1986. He enjoyed playing football for the Atwater Falcons and Merced Bears Junior College. He also enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, rebuilding his Camaro and Nascar. By trade he was a custom cabinet maker.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Charlotte Post.

He is survived by his brothers; Richard and Daphanie Post, Michael and Cheryle Post, as well as his sister Patricia and Pierre Watts. He also leaves behind his nephews; Anthony and Stefanie Bauman, Brian and Stephanie Post and Richie Post as well as many great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street Merced, California 95341 with interment following services at Calvary Cemetery located at 260 West Childs Ave. Merced, California 95341. Private visitation is set on April 6, 2017 at 6:45 pm at Stratford and Evans and private graveside services on April 7 at 4:00 pm at Calvery Cementary for the family of Richard, Daphane and Shannon Post, Kathleen Post and Mr. and Mrs. Gwendolyn Rose.Arrangements under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, Merced, CA.
