Charles Henry Tatum, 67, of Merced, CA, died in Merced, CA 11/17/2025. He was born in Merced, CA on July 14, 1958, to Charles and Elaine Tatum. Charles attended Weaver Elementary and Merced High schools before starting his farming career. He met Cherie in 1977 and married in 1978. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends tractor pulling and going to the casinos.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Elaine Tatum and is survived by his wife Cherie Tatum, sons Brent Tatum and Grant Tatum, daughter in-law Jesse (Borba) Tatum, grandkids Alyson, Mason and Austin, sister Yvonne (Arnold) Avila, sister Mona (Roger) Souza, brother in-law Wade (Lori) McGraw, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be held on December 4th at 10am at Stratford Evans Funeral Home. Burial following at Evergreen Cemetery. Celebration of Life will be held at Buhach Hall 12:00pm.
