Miss dr gallery every day he was the best doctor ever

Dr Gallery was the BEST doctor I have had in my life. His passing was a great loss to the many he provided much care. He will always be missed.

to the family of Christian Gallery I very much miss him. He was a great great workout friend. He would mentor my son and give him a lot of words of wisdom even when he wasn’t working he would always ask me if everything‘s OK. He always reached out to help me out when I was going through tough times had passion for working out that drove me as well. He will live in my memory forever. He took care of me and my boys professionally and give my boys a words of wisdom with much love the Mendoza family.

My grandpa was the greatest Md. anyone can ask for.Me and my family miss him very much.I’m trying to move on but I just can’t.He used to tell me story’s like Horton hears a who.He died when I was 9 and now I’m 11.Me and my dad and aunt Owen and Becca and everyone else still mourn his loss.I’ve been doing fine now things have changed a lot around here.Going to my grandmas house doesn’t feel the same without him.I’m going to Yosemite tomorrow till Saturday.I pray for him every day.I hope he has a good afterlife.

We think of Chris regularly and still miss him so much.  Every time we are in Yosemite or we are watching a college football game we think of Chris and long for his presence.

I continue to miss Dr. Gallery who was the primary physician for both my wife and I. After we moved away to the Oakhurst area we still drove back to be under his medical care. He was the most caring and thorough doctor we have ever had in our lives. I am saddened every time I think of him and that he is no longer with us. God no doubt is aware of his goodness and Dr. Gallery is in his kingdom.

I had the honor to have met Dr. Gallery 18 years ago. I was hired as a pharmaceutical representative and one of my first calls from training was at Dr. Gallery’s office. He knew I was new and was so kind and allowed me to do my job. From that day, we built a bond. I recall when I used to pull into the parking lot, looking for his truck. That’s was my clue, “Dr. Gallery is in today!” I will forever be grateful to God for allowing me to meet Dr. Gallery. When I shared the news with my colleagues, we all started sharing our great memories about this man. My deepest condolences to the Gallery family. You are in my prayers. He will truly be missed. God definitely has a gentle person in heaven with him. RIP my friend Dr. Gallery. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I first met Dr. Gallery when he worked for Dr. Baudino.  When he started his own practice, I followed him and remained his patient until his death.  Although I never interacted with him outside of his office, I always felt a strong bond between us.  We were close in age and shared similar interests and life experiences.  His skill as a doctor was of the highest level,  but he was also a very down-to-earth human being with a beautiful soul.  I am so appreciative of the wonderful care he gave me and the insightful conversations we shared over 20 plus years.  I am devastated by the loss of this truly great man and wish I could of helped him in his time of need as he did for me so many times.  My deepest sympathies to his family and staff.  The impact he made on my life, as well as many others, will not be forgotten.

I have been a patient since 2006 and will greatly miss Dr. Gallery.  He was always there when I needed him and took whatever time I needed.  Dr. Gallery, you will be greatly missed by all.  Oh, and put your shoes on, young man.

My entire family love Dr Gallery and his entire staff. We went to see him because my husband was having issues. DR Gallery looked at Dewayne. Asked him to walk down the hall and immediately said, " I know just the doctor in Stanford for you to see".  He always took his time and was so caring. I am so sorry for all of us who loved this man. Chris was not only my wonderful doctor for many years, but one of the most wonderful fathers I knew in my teaching career. He and Lucy were true partners, dedicated to their children and their Yosemite community. How he adored Becca and Owen!

When I had an injury that required pain medication for a short time, he talked me through my objections until we found a plan that I was comfortable with. He treated every concern with honor and value. He was willing to say “I don’t know... but I’ll find you someone who does.” And he did. 

Simply put: Chris cared, deeply. Randy and I send all our love to Lucy, Becca, Owen and all who loved Chris. We were blessed to have him in our lives. 😢

My deepest condolences to Dr. Gallery’s family and the entire practice. He was a great doctor. Always patient and calm, never rushed. He listened with care and always made sure I was at ease no matter the circumstance. I'll never forget sitting in the room, I was feeling horrible. He took one look at me and without asking questions, he knew exactly what was going on. He quickly expedited tests and got me the results and care I needed. I am forever grateful to Dr. Gallery. He will be missed. Praying for the family. 

Dr. Gallery was an outstanding & caring physician, as many have already testified. He was my doc for the past 20 years. We shared a love of the outdoors—hiking & skiing. During visits we’d talk about great trails & trips to various parks, including Yosemite. 
When I had any type of injury or illness he never dismissed it as part of the aging process. He knew how important it was for me to keep my mobility. As an example, we counted out the days for my summit attempt on Kilimanjaro, so I could get a very precisely placed cortisone shot, not to help me summit, but to make sure I could get down the mountain despite my knee problems. I’m forever grateful. 
I pray the accolades that continue to pour in will help comfort his family. What a loss for all who knew him! 

My heart breaks for the family.  Becca, I remember your dad as a gentle soul when he attend the parent conferences and when he was there for pentathlon and send off for our trip to DC/NY.  I pray for you to have a smile emerge as you remember the best times with your dad. Hugs and love to you, your mom, and Owen.

To a good friend, workout  partner, doctor and a role model to my three boys  he was very caring took time out to be a big influence to my kids and taught them a lot about life he was my doctor for over 10 years he was understandable and overall a great man our  hearts and preyers got out to family.

In everyone's memories, death is a constant,sad,but true...Chris was more, beyond my Doc whenever I showed in his offce,after being taken care of by his by all of his staff,he and I would always tlk about our shared LOVE of Yosemite.

Dr Gallery was our physician for over 20 years.  He had a warm and caring manner which always put us at ease.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and staff.  We will miss this wonderful man.

My deepest sympathy to the family and all at the practice.  Chris was my physician for 20 years, I know he helped me live a better and healthier life.  On two separate occasions he saw me on weekends when I had MRSA in my elbow.  How many physicians will do that!  He guided me through multiple surgeries and all of the simple health problems with good advice and kindness.  It was always great to see him come into the exam room in his socks, he made you feel comfortable.  
We always had a good visit.  He was an exceptional man who will be missed by all who knew him.  I can't thank the family enough for sharing him with all of us, we are better for knowing Chris.

So sad to hear of my cousin Chris’s passing.  He was always such a kind and considerate person and I miss our big family reunions we’ve had through the years.

 I first met Dr. Gallery in the 1990's when he was a resident in training in the family practice program at Merced Community Medical Center and  I was a radiologist on staff at MCMC.  Radiologists get to know virtually all physicians who are active hospital practice.  Chris opened up his family practice and in 2004, when I was in need of a primary care physician for myself and for my wife Barbara, we chose Dr. Gallery.  
For the past 16 years, except for an interval when we lived elsewhere, Dr. Gallery has been  our family physician.   My last visit as a patient with Chris was in late 2019, when he commented that he hoped his one gift to humanity might be his You Tube video "Dr Gallery's back exercises" which he believed could successfully treat intractable back pain for most patients.   As of this writing, that site shows 1.5 k viewers.  If you have a few minutes, watch this You Tube video of Chris exercising on the floor, continuing his legacy of improving your health,    
Chris, thank you for being you and thank you for your curiosity and "always learning" mindset.  Thank you for being a listening, attentive, detailed, caring physician who always placed care of the patient above all other priorities.   
I believe that one of the highest compliments one physician can give to another physician  is to call that doctor "a true doctor's doctor."    Note that I am a doctor (altho now retired) and Chris was our family's doctor.   He definitely deserved the rare accolade "a true doctor's doctor".

We are in utter shock of hearing of Dr Gallery’s passing.  He was our physician for over 15 years.  He was always professional, kind, and soft spoken.  He always took unexpected time with us when necessary.  He made you feel like he sincerely cared about you and your medical needs.  He never rushed thru your appointment and would ask us about life up in Mariposa.  I remember him asking about some of the roads there as he liked to bike there.  He was one of a kind doctor, with excellent bedside manner.  At our last appointment with him, we told him we were moving to Arizona and we tried our hardest to convince him he should move in our new area, as we didn’t look forward to finding a new doctor that we thought we could like as well as him.  Our prayers and condolences to his family and staff.  He will be remembered and surely missed.  Such a loss to many!

It’s been some time since I last saw Dr. Gallery at In-shape gym.  I would often see him running on the treadmill.  I remember the first time meeting him at the old Mercy hospital,  he had the brightest smile.  Dr. Gallery was always so kind, he valued us nurses.  He was a great physician and his patients loved him dearly. He will be missed. 

I never had to see a specialized for my mental problem. He diagnosed correctly and got me able to survive in this world. He never guessed because he always knew and if he didn’t he found the answer. The years it took to get my medication right, he was there and got me thru it, he saved my life, my marriage and never realized how important and loved he was by his patients. If he only realized how he changed the lives of so many.

Our condolences to the Gallery family. We are so sorry for your loss.  Dr. Gallery was a very special person who made a lot of people's lives better. He will certainly be missed by all who met him. Dr Gallery was a life saver who helped me when i couldn't find answers. He helped me feel comfortable with my mental illness and made me make sense of it all. So patient, loving,  gentle,  and most of all honest. My family will be forever grateful.

He helped me through the worst tragedy of my life, with his calm, soothing voice, his patience and unconditional love. But also, his incredible insight. 
Chris had a beautiful voice and I loved when he would play guitar and sing. Some of my fondest memories of Chris was with his guitar singing his heart out. 
He was loyal, committed, and worked extremely hard to provide a life for his children that would consist of choices and opportunities. To help them make whatever dreams they might have into a reality. He loved his wife Lucy throughout the years, consistently, deeply, and truly. 
He was a lovely, sensitive, caring man, whom I will never forget. I miss you brother- Jess


Because having a doctor has become a necessity,  it's wonderful to have one you love and trust.  Dr. Gallery was that person.   I am doing well today because of his careful diagnosis.   He will be truly missed. 

Dr. Gallery was such a classic example of a calm but very intelligent and caring doctor for all of us here in Merced. His demeanor was always how a good doctors' should be with his patients and should be an example for aspiring young doctors. He will be greatly missed by our family. May he rest in peace.

Annie and I just loved doctor Gallery.  Such a kind and wonderful person always took whatever time needed during the appointments. He always made us feel special  and never rushed .  Even though  he always seem to be running late  we never minded because  he would take his time  with everyone . What a sad sad loss for his family, his staff and all his patients.  He will be greatly missed.

   My memory of Dr. Gallery is when he and Owen had come to our home and they made themselves comfortable like family.  Another memory I have is of Malcolm and Owen’s high school graduation. Dr. Gallery found us in the sea of people that was there and he hugged my husband and with the biggest smile on his face he said we did it. I have a picture of him on that day that I have been trying to find.  I always called him Dr. Gallery too, never Chris or Christian, it just didn’t ring right with me to call him anything other than Dr. Gallery. Dr. Gallery seem to always have this calming nature about him,  and he saw you as a person and not just a patient. Because of insurance issues we were no longer patients of his but it was always a goal to get back, because he set the standard for how a doctor should treat patients. Dr. Gallery was Malcolm’s doctor during his early football years, and he wasn’t just a doctor to Malcolm he also implemented little tidbits of wisdom. He took a liking to Malcolm pretty quickly and wanted him and Owen to get along. Dr. Gallery was compassionate about his work, he was kind, and he was funny as well. He will be truly missed.  You will all be in the Mann family’s prayers. 

Dr. Gallery has been my doctor for approximately 20 years and was definitely One Of One.  He was everything everyone has already mentioned, but a 100 times more.  There is comfort knowing he is now at peace.

WOW, i woke up this morning to some very sad, & unfortunate news. I was very close with Dr. Gallery's son growing up. I spent literally full summers at their home. They took me up to their forresta property, took me hiking.  I remember Chris and i going on a hike just us two up in yosemitie. He was super motivational and we literally talked all day long about a million topics. he was my doctor for over 10 years. We lost a great person today and i pray for   Lucy,  his kids, grandkids, & all his patients and individuals lives he had changed over the years.

So many good memories to share, but I will never forget you  always on the pool deck cheering on our kids, swimming laps in the warm up/cool down lane with them or your kind words telling me that Erik was always welcome at your house and how he was a positive influence with Owen. dr. gallery was a amazing man! he helped me realize life in so many different ways. not only a doctor but s true friend. i trusted more than anyone. he literally saved my life when i had staph infection. he will always be so special to me. a great man and person! i will miss him. his family is in my prayers!!

I first met Dr Gallery working at Mercy Hospital when he first started working there. I was one of the nurses that worked in the ER and ICU. I enjoyed working with him, for he was a kind, intelligent, and caring Dr. A few years later he became my personal physician, and my mom’s as well. Condolences to the family. Dr Gallery will be missed. Sadly Merced lost a good, kind, intelligent, and compassionate physician.

Dr Gallery was the best doctor I have ever had. I can hear his calm voice now. I was blown away how he made me feel like I was his only patient of the day and how he explained thing so clearly.
