December 9, 1963 - November 4, 2025
Christopher Raymond Prine, 61, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Christopher lived a life full of love, adventure, and craftsmanship. A proud member of the Christian Church of the Valley and a dedicated contractor, Christopher built many beautiful homes over the years, including those his family lived in. His work was a reflection of his care and pride, and his home was a place of joy, especially when shared with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Christopher had a deep love for the outdoors and a passion for adventure. In his younger years, he enjoyed bull riding, riding Harleys, driving sand rails, snow and water skiing, hunting, fishing, and spending time at the Pismo Dunes. He also loved NASCAR and the Raiders, hanging out by the pool with family, good BBQ, and classic AC/DC tunes. Family was everything to Christopher. He adored his two daughters and found immense joy in his twelve grandchildren. He also held close bonds with his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Kimberlee Pamplona-Prine; his daughters, Leslie Prine (Matt Lambert) and Taylor Prine (Rigo Vasquez); his father, Gary Prine; and his former wife, Michelle
Boehm-Prine. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Dustin Pamplona (Crystal) and Josh Pamplona (Nekane); his sister, Susan Zirnhelt; sister-in-law, Wilma Prine; brother-in-law, Rick Mendonca; and sister-in-law, Stacey Callarman. Christopher was a proud grandfather to Noah, Tessa, Devin, Dennis, Ava, Micah, Clayton, Casey, Lydia, Caleb, Ava, and Levi.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Prine Moore; siblings, Greg Prine and Lori Mendonca; grandparents, Howard and Juanita Prine, and Marion and Elizabeth Handley Landers; and father-in-law, Bob Higginbotham. Christopher fought the good fight and never backed down. He is now free of the physical pain he endured for so many years. His strength, love, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Christian Church of the Valley, 2212 Cherry Ave, Merced, CA 95340.
