Clifton James Todd Sr.

Mr. Clifton James Todd, Sr. a Merced resident of 41 years passed away on January 28, 2015 in Merced, California at the age of 65 years. Clifton was born on May 2, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam and received an honorable discharge in 1969. Clifton worked as a Landscaper for several years.

Clifton was preceded in death by his wife, Lavonne Todd; daughters, Sheila Howell and Tonya Burns; parents, Dorothy and Lloyd Willis; and sisters, Darlene Carnell and Bernice Willis.

He is survived by his children, Clifton Todd Jr. of Merced, Pamela Todd of Merced, Latisha Todd of Merced, Marcus Todd of Los Banos, Marquita Todd of Merced, Francisco Todd of Merced, Gala Roberts of Merced, and Leslie Smith of Merced; brothers, Earl Riley of Merced, Larry Willis of Dos Palos, and Rodney Willis of Dos Palos; sisters, Cynthia Riley of Los Banos and Sharon Howard of Los Banos; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street Merced, CA. Burial will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California.
