Cynthia Elaine Chadwell was born on November 14, 1949 in Madera, CA and passed away peacefully on March 5, 2013, in Merced, CA surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Florence Owens; her husband, Frederick Lawrence “Larry” Chadwell; and a brother, Vernon Owens.
She loved to go hunting, fishing and camping with her family. Her love of sports led her and Larry into opening the business, “All Seasons Sports Cards”, which they owned for 5 years. After her husband’s passing, Cynthia enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved unconditionally.
She is survived by her two children, Scott Chadwell and Shannon Heafner; grandchildren, Ashley Chadwell, Shelby Chadwell, Rebecca Heafner and Clayton Heafner; brother, Bruce Moody and a sister, Gail Walters.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 1480 B Street Merced, CA.
Arrangements are under the Direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
