

Darlene, frequently referred to as Dee, was a retiree who lived as a true free spirit, finding joy in simple and meaningful pursuits, particularly gardening, baking, and dancing. Those who knew her well will fondly remember her love for dancing, especially alongside her favorite partner, her husband, David J. Poma.
Darlene is survived by her husband, David J. Poma of Merced, California; her children, Charissa Lestardo of Santa Cruz, California and Angela McKeller of Winton, California; her stepchildren, Christopher Poma of Missouri, Shawn Poma of California, David Poma Jr. of California, Jared Poma of California, Shea Poma of California, and Natasha Smith of Arkansas; and her sisters, Phyllis Mosher-Victor of Los Banos, California and Mary Mosher-Foucault of McHenry, Illinois. She is also survived by many grandchildren and a few great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Smith; her sisters, Carol Mosher-Neutze and Shirley Mosher; and her parents, Philip M. Mosher and Geneva L. Mosher (Adams).
A private Celebration of Life will be held with close family and friends.
