David was my Best Friend. We rode together to the old Merced High School in the back of his father’s old blue pick up truck. We built his first baseball field together on our street in 1964. David driving his grandfather's tractor to grade  the field. David was my Best Man, when I got married at Santa Clara University Chapel in 1972. 

My work has kept me based and living in Asia. I was not told that David passed or I would have been on the plane back to the US and Merced for his funeral.  David was an amazing man all through out his life. High Character, Full of Honor, Compassion For Others, Always Kind And Respectful! I Am Honored You Were My Friend. I Pray Nightly And I Thank God For Your Friendship.

I loved Dave so much I met him  many years ago when he was at mid state tire my ex husband worked for him he and susie and there boys wete close friends  of ours  even after all these years he always treated me and my family like his own we will miss you Dave  this whole community will  you were one of the good ones sending my love and deepest sympathy  to his family

Truly one of the most amazing men I have ever known in my life.  He was a role model to all who knew him .  He has helped so many people over his lifetime and is leaving a truly remarkable legacy behind.  

I first met David when he was a bagger at Yosemite Market on Yosemite Parkway back I would say as old as my oldest daughter is 53 years ago we continued to be friends for many many years and as a dedicated customer when he owned Tire World in Merced California I'm truly going to miss him he would bend over backwards to do anything for you within reason he was somebody you could count on he was a happy-go-lucky guy my deepest sympathy to his wife Susie Q and his children and grandchildren
