Destiny attended Golden Valley High School in Merced, California where she was a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by father, Pedro Vargas and her brother, Arturo M. Vargas.
Destiny is survived by her mother, Maria Vargas; sisters, Elisa Vargas, Lailah Vargas, Rosa Pavey, Laura Reyes and Mikala Huber; fatherly companion, Jeff Pavey and many numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends, all who will miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held on February 1, 2017 from 4:00pm-9:00pm at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street in Merced. Funeral services will take place on February 2, 2017 at 10:00am at Central Presbyterian Church located 1920 Canal Street in Merced. A graveside service will follow immediately after at Calvary Cemetery located at 260 West Childs Avenue in Merced.
