Always thinking of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart at Thanksgiving and will always be thankful that they made me a welcome member of the clan!  The world seems less bright and smiling without both of them.

Mr. and Mrs. Stewart welcomed me into their warm home in Merced, when I was Melinda's roommate at Stanford.  Thanksgiving with the Stewart Clan was as sparkling as Mr. Stewart's smiling eyes.  The family's friendship has lasted for 50 years; and although 3000 miles may separate us physically, I am with you all now.  These difficult days are made even darker when I think that Mr. S. is gone from the landscape.  May he rest in peace and may his beautiful family find comfort in the treasure of memories of sweet times shared with their dad.  My sympathy goes out to Mrs. Stewart and all the children and theirs...With love, Marsha
