Emily Jameson passed away on November 25, 2015. She was the second child born to Virgil and Rose Caton. Emily graduated from Livingston High School and went on to have a career working in banking, retiring from Bank of America after 45 years of service. Emily truly enjoyed her job and working with numbers. She was a quiet and gentle person and loved taking day trips to the casino, going shopping with her sister, Corie and watching her favorite soap opera. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Duard, son, John, sisters, Corie Poe, Betty Hamit, and Linda Albright. Emily is also survived by Kelly Hamit-Nanez (niece). William Albright (nephew), one granddaughter and two great granddaughters.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, with a burial to immediately follow at the Winton District Cemetery.
