Fernando Jesse Garcia, a life-long resident of Merced, CA was born on June 15, 1957 and passed away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on September 8, 2011 at the age of 54.
Fernando was a sales associate and manager in the Furniture Industry for 30yrs. He enjoyed volunteering at Saint Vincent de Paul’s, and loved helping his family and friends.
Fernando is survived by his parents, Lugardo and Amelia Garcia; children, Andrea Velasquez, Daniel Velasquez, and Maricella Linares; grandson, Sebastian Velasquez; brothers, Raymond Lierra, Edward Garcia, and Daniel Garcia; and sisters, Ramona Hurtado, Rosie Reynoso, Mary Alaniz, and Alma Garcia.
Viewing will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 3:00p.m.-7:00p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 10:00a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Merced Cemetery District.
