Francisco Vaca Campos

Francisco Vaca Campos, 78, was born February 20, 1948, in Jacona, Michoacán, Mexico, and passed away on August 29, 2026. A loving and devoted man, Francisco’s greatest joy was his family, and his life was marked by the steady warmth of a heart that made room for others.

Francisco lived in San Jose, California, and was a faithful Catholic whose life reflected care for family, friends, and community. He was known for bringing people together and for the simple, enduring way he made others feel welcomed, opening his home and his heart with generosity and grace.

For 25 years, Francisco worked at Foster Farms as a lead dock and also in the freezers, building a life through dedication and hard work before retiring. Those who knew him understood that his work ethic was matched by his willingness to help others; he often went out of his way to support family members and friends in finding jobs and opportunities, always hoping to see the people he loved move forward.

At home, Francisco found happiness in the everyday joys that became lasting memories—cooking, hosting gatherings, and making sure everyone was fed, comfortable, and included. His home was often filled with laughter, love, good food, and music. Francisco was truly a songbird, always singing, especially at family gatherings, and his voice carried a joyful spirit that brought warmth to those around him.

Francisco was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Maria “Lupe” Guadalupe Vaca. He is survived by his children, Francisco Vaca Jr., Ruben Vaca, and Elizabette Lopez; his sisters, Enethina and Rosa; his brother, Rosendo Vaca; and his seven grandchildren: Jazmin, Angel, Nicko, Chito, Thommy, Jessica, and Alysha. He was the son of Jose Vaca Burquis and Carmen Vaca Campos.

Francisco will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished. His love for his family, his giving spirit, his music, and the welcome he extended so freely will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
