Frank Franczak was born in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania on August 3rd, 1942, and passed away on October 8th, 2024, in Merced, CA. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Edward and Helen Franczak, as well as his older brother Edward Thomas Franczak. Frank was a farm boy at heart, a man of faith, strong Polish roots, who served in the US Army, then graduated from the University of Miami, and later worked for Ford Corporation as a fleet manager. He is survived by his wife Teresa Franczak to whom he married in 2005. One of the many notable experiences they shared as a couple, was traveling to and through each of the states.
While Frank did not have any children of his own, he was able to be a “grandpop” to both Roselyn and Miles. He also epitomized the proverbial “cool uncle” to many of his nieces and nephews. Two things Frank always enjoyed were gambling and football… He was always generous, ready to share drinks, good food, and a questionable joke. He was an exceptional man and will be missed by all.
The services will be held October 19, 2024 at St. Patrick’s Church 671 E. Yosemite Avenue in Merced, CA. The Rosary will begin at 10:30, followed by a mass at 11:00am
