Harold was a lifelong resident of Merced. He served in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Rutha Stephens and brother Carroll Stephens.
Harold is survived by his children Mike Stephens of Mariposa, California, Mark Stephens of Catheys Valley, California, Jeff Stephens of Raymond, California and Kecia Andersen of Washougal, Washington. He also leaves behind his brothers Alfred, David and Gerald; sister Ethel Faragi as well as 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
There will be a private graveside service at Merced District Cemetery.
