Mrs. Hermelinda Serrano Redondo was born on December 25, 1930 in Chihuahua, Mexico. She lived in Planada, California for 60 years and was a migrant Preschool teacher. Also earned her AA degree in early childhood education and was a member of Sacred heart Catholic Church in Planada. Hermelinda passed away at the age of 92 on August 3, 2023 in Merced, California. She is survived by her children Andy (Rita) Redondo, Oscar (Maya) Redondo, Manuel (Debra) Redondo, Elva (Luis) Reyna and Juanito Montero; Grandchildren Bethany (Thomas) Lopez, Andy Redondo II, Kylie (Nick) Fimbrez, Olga Redondo, Cierrah and Christopher Redondo and 10 great grandchildren. Hermelinda is preceded in death by her husband Celso Redondo, her brothers, sisters, and her companion dog Mona of 17 years. Mom loved to cook for her family; she loved family gatherings and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. She had a passion for teaching and working with children. She was creative and artistic and enjoyed dancing. She loved shopping and was always ready to shop.
