

Howard went into Vernon elementary school and graduated from Washington high school. Howard joined the navy in January 1964 and he was discharged in November 1967. After leaving the Navy he moved to Oakland, California.
Howard was introduced to Sheila Faye by Lonnie Norman and Jackie Buchanan In San Francisco California. At their first dinner together, Howard looked at her and said, " You will be mine forever" and were together until the day of his transition to heaven 49 years later.
Howard devoted his life to his family. He loved to travel, especially to places with calm and beautiful water. He shared that love with his beloved wife Shelia and his children and grandchildren. Some of his favorite places were the Caribbean Islands, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and parts of Mexico and the Hawaiian Islands.. He also loved the exciting part of travel such as Disneyland, boating and camping.
Howard leaves to this life, his wife Shelia, three brothers, Lawrence(Diane) McCluney, Mike B. (Tina) McCluney and Curtis McCluney. Three sisters, Amelia, Cynthia, and Brenda McCluney. Two daughters, Roslyn (Curtis) Lowe, Lutrece Davis. One son, Marvis (Melissa) Raney. 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded him in death: His parents, Zelma and R.C. McCluney. One brother Rodger McCluney. Two sisters, Connie and Wanda McCluney and son Marcus Raney.
I Entered this life on August 25th, and left this life August 25th turning 77 years of age.
