

Isabelle was born and raised in Texas. Isabelle also attended Pan American University, in Edinburgh, Texas. She moved to California in 1977.
Isabelle worked as an eligibility worker for the County of Merced for 25 years until her eventual retirement. During the course of her life, Isabelle loved helping others, cooking, traveling, shopping, listening to Tex-Mex music, and tending to her plants. Isabelle’s strength, courage, and fight for life never wavered.
She is survived by her two children Adrian (Jessica) Garza and Delilah Garza (James Johnson) and a total of seven Grandchildren; Cristian Garza, Cassandra Aguilar, Caden Garza, Emilia Garza, Emma Garza, Ethan Garza, and James Johnson. Isabelle is also survived by three sisters, two brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
Isabelle was a dedicated mother and grandmother, with her favorite title being “Nana.” Isabelle treasured her children and grandchildren, embracing every moment with them. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and loved the close friendships she held. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Services will be held on April, 16 2021 at St. Patrick's Church in Merced on Yosemite Avenue at 10 a.m.
