Jack Gary Smith was born on June 17, 1936 in Bristol, TN and passed away in Merced, CA on September 19, 2011 at the age of 75.
Jack was a retired MSGT in the USAF. He also retired from PG&E where he worked for 14yrs as Power Plant Operator at the Diablo Nuclear Power Plant. Jack attended the Church of the Nazarene. He was also affiliated with the Masonic Lodge in Fountain City, Tennessee for 45yrs.
Jack is preceded in death by his father, W.W. Smith; mother, Ethel Smith; and brother, Charles Smith.
Jack is survived by his wife, Joyce B. Smith; son, Jack Gary Smith Jr.; daughter, Cheryl D. Goudy; grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Jennifer Smith, Alyssa Goudy, and Jared Goudy; and sisters, Reba, Mary, and Bobbie Jean.
Services will be on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 10:00am at the Church of the Nazarene, 1374 Shaffer Rd., Atwater, CA. with burial to follow at the Winton Cemetery.
