Jackie "Jack" Duane Bowling

Jack was a California Highway Patrolman for 30 years. He also served in the United States Army. He was the president of the California Association of the Highway Patrol (CAHP) for 4 years and the president of the National Troopers Coalition for a year.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife Judy Bowling of Atwater, Ca and children, Melody (Richard) Rotan, Robyn Haupt, Gayla (Lon) Crouch, Jacqueline ( Charlie) McLeland, Allyne (Chris) Beutel and Joe Rotan. Jack is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Ila Bowling, his brothers Jess "Pooch" and Gene Bowling and his sisters, Francis Bondini and Elouise Copher.

A funeral service for Jack will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, CA 95340. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge, 1910 M Street, Merced, CA. Bring all of your stories to share!!!
