James Edwin Sutherland

Jim is survived by his son Jim Ritchie, granddaughter Rhiannon, nieces Jackie Basaldua, Dawn Buhler-Heinricks, and Kristen Wagoner, nephew Michael Buhler, and sister Shirley Probst. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sutherland, mother Claudine Rodriguez, step father Ramiro Rodriguez, and brother Kenneth Sutherland.

Jim was born on March 31, 1946 and was a lifetime local resident and owner of Town & Country Dog Grooming. He had many interests and always enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a proud Vietnam veteran and life member of the VFW and American Legion. He was also somewhat of a local celebrity, singing the National Anthem at numerous local events and performing at chruches, retirement homes and hospitals. All who knew him will miss him.

Please join family and friends for Military Honors at Winton District Cemetery on December 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at Gateway Community Church at 11:00 a.m.
