Jane Susan Chapman

Ms. Jane Susan Chapman, born on July 25, 1962, in San Diego, California, sadly passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in Merced, California. She was the beloved daughter of Mr. John Lee Chapman and Mrs. Carol Jean Chapman.

Jane had a successful career in retail sales and was actively involved in community service, notably as the president of the United Methodist Church Estate Sales. Her passion for the beach was evident through her frequent travels to Capitola and San Diego, where she found solace and inspiration.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jane was an avid collector of rocks and stones, demonstrating her appreciation for nature's beauty. Her greatest joy, however, came from her family. She cherished her two children, Cristen and Kyle, who were her closest friends and confidants. Her love for her canine companions, Milo, Charlie, Mushie, and Brody, was also immeasurable. She had a passion for fashion and loved to shop the latest trends, always looking her best.

Ms. Chapman's passing is preceded by the loss of her grandparents, Jack and Bea Helsby, grandmother Mamie Long, Aunts Virginia and Jeannette Chapman. She is survived by; her daughter, Cristen Camp; son, Kyle Cornaggia; parents, John and Carol Chapman; and sisters, Connie Chapman and Catherine Wrighton, along with her nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Ms. Chapman's life will be held at the United Methodist Church in Merced, California, on Thursday, April 11th at 1pm to honor her memory and the positive impact she had on the community.
