Words cannot express how deeply sorry my family is to hear of Joel’s passing, we lived next door for several years and my children grew very fond of Joel and Kelle and the boys, Joel took my kids to the ocean and would share great stories with them and as my kids grew they still felt very close to Joel. He would go out of his way to say hi and drop in to see my son Steven and his family. They would run into Joel at Briceburg and would have the best time laughing I laughing and swimming. We will miss Joel very much and Kelle, Kennan and Evan are in our thoughts and prayers

All of us who worked with Joel will miss him dearly. Although most of us only saw him once or twice a year, he truly made our days brighter.

Joel was so smart and funny. I have such great memories of fun adventurous times with Joel. He could tell a story with so much detail that it felt like you were there! Joel's enthusiasm was immeasurable! What a free spirit! I will always cherish our times fishing, mountain biking, hiking, camping, trips to the coast, Yosemite treks, partying and laughing...Love and miss you my friend.....RIP Joel Allen
