John Stanley, an English teacher at Merced High School for 30+ years, died on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, after being hit by a car on Saturday, January 31st.
His passions included photography, Quora, movies and, of course, reading.
He leaves behind a wife, a brother, a sister, two daughters, four grandchildren, two dogs and 5 cats. He will be greatly missed.
Due to Covid-19, there will not be a funeral. In lieu of flowers, please share a funny story about John with family and friends.
