Julian Conrad Dudley

September 28, 1962 – July 30, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julian Conrad Dudley, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on September 28, 1962, in Merced, California, Julian was the cherished son of Willma Jean Dennis Robinson and William Dudley, and was lovingly raised by his grandmother, Ollie Mae Dennis. Surrounded by family, he grew up alongside his sister, Vienna Paye, and brother, Dwight Fisher, who helped shape his early years with love and camaraderie.

In Merced, Julian met the love of his life, Joann Teresa Castaneda. Their bond grew through laughter and love, and they were married on August 5, 1989. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising two children, Donesia Rose Dudley and Jermain Joseph Dudley, first in Los Banos, and later returning to their roots in Merced.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his wife Joann, his loving children Donesia and Jermain, and his sister Vienna Paye, whose bond with Julian was unbreakable. He is fondly remembered by his nephew Theophilus Warren, nieces Serena Mays, Sequoia Winzer, Dalila and Davyonna Fisher, along with a host of cousins, great-nieces, and great-great-nieces — all of whom carry pieces of his spirit with them.

Rest peacefully, dear Julian. May your spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed to know you.

A celebration of life for Julian will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, CA 953416304.
