Kathleen Diane Henderson

Kathleen Diane Henderson was born on February 13, 1932 in Neshoba, MS and passed away on July 31, 2012 in Merced, CA at the age of 80.

Kathleen was raised in Meridian, MS and then later in life she moved to Fresno, CA. She spent the last 25 years of her life in Merced, CA.

Kathleen was a faithful child of God and a member of the Merced Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church. She had such a warm and positive personality.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and watching WWF Wrestling.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, James Henderson; parents, Velmer and Willie Mae Franklin; and sisters, Jessie Mae Franklin-Bolden, Louise A. Richards, and Mary Ann Leffall.

She is survived by her sons, Charles Wayne Lewis of Fresno, CA and Jerry Lane Lewis of Merced, CA; brother, Harold S. Franklin of TX; sister, Mildred Franklin of MS; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA on August 4, 2012 from 12:00pm-2:00pm with services to follow from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Burial will be on August 6, 2012 at 12:00pm at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N. Teilman Ave., Fresno, CA 93706.
