Monday, October 27,2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Lupe was a woman of remarkable kindness and strength whose warmth touched everyone she met. She lived a life guided by faith, family, and compassion—values that shone through in all she did. Her devotion to her Catholic faith was steadfast, providing her with grace and wisdom that she generously shared with others.
Known for her caring heart and infectious sense of humor, Lupe had a special way of making people feel loved and understood. Her laughter could light up a room, and her words—always thoughtful and forgiving—brought comfort and peace to those around her.
A hard-working woman in every sense, she poured her energy into nurturing her family and creating a home filled with warmth and joy. She took great pride in her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and godmother, cherishing every family gathering, especially the parties where laughter, food, and love overflowed.
Her hands were rarely still—whether sewing something beautiful for a loved one, preparing a meal to share, or reaching out to comfort someone in need. Lupe had a gift for making ordinary moments special and for reminding everyone what truly mattered in life: love, family, and faith.
She will be remembered for her admirable strength, gentle spirit, and unconditional love. Though she is no longer with us in body, her legacy of kindness and devotion will live on through the countless lives she touched.
Lupe is survived by her Daughter Mary Lou Burchak (Steve), Daughter Lydia Southwick, Grandchildren: Zachary Southwick (Erica), Great grandchild: Cooper Southwick. She joins in eternal rest her beloved Raymond, and all those who went before her in faith.
Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace in God’s loving arms, watching over them with the same warmth and love she gave so freely in life.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church. A viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. A private family burial
will take place following the service. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Lupe’s life and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind for a reception at 1:00 p.m. at the Merced Golf and Country Club to share memories, laughter, and love.
