Lynnette Ann Stannard

Lynnette A. Stannard was born on January 24, 1945 and passed into the arms of Jesus on November 4, 2012 at the age of 67.

Lynnette after retiring from working for Merced County spent her time surrounded with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great great grandchildren. She wanted to tell them she would be watching them. Her wishes were that they would all come together as a loving family.

She loved the outdoors, playing baseball in the Merced slow pitch teams, and was very interested in the Indian culture especially in the surrounding areas such as Yosemite and Mariposa.

Lynnette now rests in peace Heaven hearing the feet of Jesus walking happily by her side. Her spirit will live in us still here on earth until we see her again . . . . . .

Lynnette leaves behind her brother, Gary Wooten; daughter, Lisa Holte; grandchildren, Christopher and Melissa Reyes, and Thomas Holte; great grandchildren, Alexia Ybarra, Fabian Reyes, and Lilly Holte; and family members, Francis and Joseph Moreno.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1101 Sultan Ave., Ste. 105, Modesto, CA 95350.

Per Lynnette’s request all services will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
